چکیده

Plant structure is utilized for the simpli cation of system analysis and controller synthesis. For plants where the directionality is independent of frequency, the singular value decomposition (SVD) is used to decouple the system into nominally independent subsystems of lower dimension. In H2and H1-optimal control, the controller synthesis can thereafter be performed for each of these subsystems independently, and the resulting overall SVD controller will be optimal (the same will hold for any norm which is invariant under unitary transformations). In H1-optimal control the resulting controller is also super-optimal, as a controller of dimension n n will minimize the norm in n directions. For robust control in terms of the structured singular value, , the SVD controller is optimal for a practically relevant class of block diagonal structures and uncertainty and performance weights.

Interval Type-II Fuzzy H∞ Frequency Control for an Island Microgrid

Frequency control is one of the key parts for the arrangement of the performance of a microgrid (MG) system. Theoretically, model-based controllers may be the ideal control mechanisms; however, they are highly sensitive to model uncertainties and have difficulty with preserving robustness. The presence of serious disturbances, the increasing number of MG, varying voltage supplies of MGs, and bo...

An Iterative Algorithm for the Mixed H2/h∞ Control Problem Using H2 Norm Decreasing Controller Sets

This paper is concerned with the mixed H2/H∞ control problem. The purpose of this paper is to give an iterative algorithm for finding a sub-optimal static state feedback controller for the mixed H2/H∞ control problem. The key idea of our algorithm is to construct two “controller sets”: one is a set of controllers that improve the H2 norm of the closed loop map for a given controller and the oth...

Design of Optimal Mixed H 2 / H m Static State Feedback Controllers

Despite the recent advances in robust control theory, the robust performance problem formulated in the mixed H2/Hm framework largely remains an open problem. In this approach, one seeks a controller that minimizes the Hz norm of a closed-loop map over all admissible controllers while satisfying an H , constraint on another closed-loop map. Unlike the optimal H Z problem or the y-level sub-optim...

Optimal LPV control with hard constraints

This paper considers the optimal control of polytopic, discrete-time linear parameter varying (LPV) systems with a guaranteed l2 to l∞ gain. Additionally, to guarantee robust stability of the closed-loop system under parameter variations, H∞ performance criterion is also considered as well. Controllers with a guaranteed l2 to l∞ gain and a guaranteed H∞ performance (l2 to l2 gain) are a special...

Optimal Design of FPI^λ D^μ based Stabilizers in Hybrid Multi-Machine Power System Using GWO ‎Algorithm

In this paper, the theory and modeling of large scale photovoltaic (PV) in the power grid and its effect on power system stability are studied. In this work, the basic module, small signal modeling and mathematical analysis of the large scale PV jointed multi-machine are demonstrated. The principal portion of the paper is to reduce the low frequency fluctuations by tuned stabilizer in the atten...
